The Nocpix Bolt P25R LRF is a compact thermal imaging riflescope built for hunters and precision shooters who want reliable night-vision capability with integrated range-finding. It combines a thermal sensor, optical zoom, ballistic calculator, and laser rangefinder into a single rugged 30 mm-tube housing, compatible with standard scope rings.

It’s designed for clear imaging in complete darkness, fog, smoke, or other low-visibility environments — letting users detect and identify heat signatures from animals or objects both day and night.

⚙️ Main Features

  • Thermal Sensor: 256 × 192 px resolution, 12 µm pixel size.

  • Thermal Sensitivity (NETD): ≤ 20 mK, enabling detection of very small temperature differences.

  • Frame Rate: 50 Hz for smooth motion when tracking moving targets.

  • Lens: 25 mm F1.0 germanium objective, optimized for balanced range and field of view.

  • Magnification: Optical and digital zoom combined for approximately 3.5× – 14× total.

  • Display: High-contrast AMOLED (approx. 1024 × 768 px) with multiple color palettes.

  • Laser Rangefinder (LRF): Built-in, measuring targets out to roughly 1,200 meters.

  • Ballistic Calculator: Integrates range and trajectory data to assist in accurate shot placement.

  • Detection Range: Up to about 1,300 meters under ideal conditions.

  • Power System: Dual battery design — internal rechargeable pack plus replaceable 18650 cell.

  • Battery Life: Around 10 – 12 hours depending on temperature and usage.

  • Body Design: Traditional 30 mm aluminium tube; compatible with standard mounts.

  • Environmental Protection: IP67-rated (dustproof and waterproof).

  • Operating Temperature: −20 °C to +50 °C.

  • Weight: Around 870 grams (without mount).

🎯 Performance

The Bolt P25R LRF offers dependable thermal performance for medium-range hunting and pest control. Its 25 mm lens gives a moderate field of view suited to scanning open ground or bushland. While its 256 × 192 sensor doesn’t match high-end professional models in resolution, the excellent sensitivity (≤ 20 mK) delivers surprisingly clear images with strong contrast, even in challenging thermal conditions.

The integrated rangefinder and ballistic engine simplify distance estimation and aiming corrections, making it a practical all-in-one optic for shooters who value efficiency and reliability.

🧰 Build and Usability

  • Tough anodized aluminium housing withstands recoil and rough handling.

  • Weather-sealed against rain, dust, and condensation.

  • Ergonomic control layout for use with gloves.

  • Fast startup and simple zeroing system with multiple reticle options.

  • Standard video and image recording functions with onboard memory and wireless connectivity (varies by firmware version).

🦌 Ideal Applications

  • Night hunting (feral pigs, foxes, rabbits, etc.)

  • Wildlife observation and search operations

  • Farm, property, and pest management

  • Security and surveillance in low-light conditions
